Born in 1977 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, my childhood was filled with adventure. I had the best friends, and together we built makeshift hideouts, explored unknown territories, and enjoyed the freedom of being kids without adult supervision. Now, as an adult, I realize how risky some of our escapades were, but back then, it was just another exciting day. Sometimes, we’d venture so far from home that our parents had no idea where we were. Despite the potential danger, those experiences shaped the person I am today.
I grew up with a solid education at home and in a prestigious school with wonderful teachers. I attended a religious school where the priests made a significant impact on my life—I even served as an altar boy. Religion played a central role during my upbringing, providing a strong moral foundation. My time as a Boy Scout was another highlight, filled with camping trips, learning survival skills, and forming lifelong memories.
As I grew older...
life became more complicated. My parents separated, leading to multiple moves across different neighborhoods, which made it challenging to maintain friendships. It was during this turbulent period that I became deeply interested in cryptozoology, collecting articles on fascinating subjects and even appearing on TV shows to discuss them.
In December 2000, I arrived in the United States due to unforeseen circumstances. The transition was difficult—I was an undocumented immigrant, struggling to survive in a new country. My life in Miami, Florida, was challenging; I worked hard but earned very little. Despite the hardships, my perseverance eventually paid off, opening doors I never imagined.
Amid the struggle, I met the love of my life, and when I asked her to marry me, she said yes. The rest, as they say, is history. Now, we live a quiet suburban life, just like any regular couple. Although my journey has been full of ups and downs, I wouldn’t change it for anything—it’s made me who I am today.
A little about my book...
Prologue
Seated in my cheap, uncomfortable chair, I listened to a nearly 7-foot-tall, muscular, tough ex-marine recounting his encounter with “an enormous creature that moves through the woods at high speed, with a roar like a mix of an elephant and a lion.” As he stood on stage, visibly uneasy and his chin trembling as he recalled the event, I couldn’t help but wonder what could frighten a man like him so much.
I realized that more than half the people at that event weren’t there just for Bigfoot stories. They were seeking confirmation—something that could validate what they had heard or seen. The deeper you go into the Bigfoot subject, the more you encounter people who never intended to become part of this mystery. These are tough, rugged men—hunters, law enforcement officers, military veterans—men who fear little in life. And yet, their voices tremble, their hands shake, and their eyes tell a story beyond words. They are not here because they believe. They are here because they have seen something. Something that should not exist.
Since childhood,
I’ve been drawn to stories of monsters and mythical creatures. While my friends collected trading cards or played games, I saved up to buy books and magazines about cryptozoology—the study of creatures like Bigfoot. The realization that this field had a scientific name captivated me.
As an adult, I set aside my childhood fascination for a time. However, after a hiatus, I decided to return to my roots and use my expertise in IT and electronics to find the truth about Bigfoot. Along the way, I saw how many researchers started as mere enthusiasts, only to find themselves face to face with something beyond their understanding. Some were armchair investigators, skeptics who laughed at the idea—until they had their own moment of clarity in the woods.
I invite you to join me in exploring these encounters, examining how researchers are approaching the subject today, and looking at the technologies currently used and those that could play a role in future investigations. We will explore what has not worked and why, and consider how we can adapt our approach to achieve a different outcome. This journey is not just about belief—it is about confronting the impossible and recognizing that reality may be far stranger than we ever imagined.
